The anniversary
of 120 years is the occasion for optimizing
the studies on the body measures of the riders,
improving the MTB geometries already used on the
road range and further increasing the performance
levels.
The Sloping technology, a successful intuition devised by Bianchi Research & Development
Centre, has the peculiarity of 4° to 5° inclination of the chain-stays
against the seat tube, thus allowing the reduction of the tube dimension
and seat stays. The result is a lighter and more rigid frame which on the
road expresses in an overall stability and a better reactivity to quick
accelerations.
The evolution in the MTB field allowed Bianchi
to produce four standard measures for
the Front Suspended frames and of three standard
measures for the Full Suspended frames
(all of them featuring a compact rear stays and
cc geometry with 71° head angle and 73°
seat angle).
Thanks to the contribution of Aliverti Team and its female athletes, in
2005 the sloping geometries are expected to achieve important results even
in the women races, thanks to the White Lady frame, manufactured according
to female anthropometric parameters. |
